7.2 Fault Information and Troubleshooting

  • Frequency Error: Check country settings and local grid frequency. If normal, contact DNO or Peimar assistance.
  • No Grid Error: Check the AC side connection and grid. If normal, contact your distributor or Peimar assistance.
  • DCI Error, GFCI Error, ISO Error, Current High, Bus Voltage High, PV Current High, PV Voltage Fault: Check grid voltage, inverter-grid connection, inverter settings, insulation resistance, and whether the inverter is in a wet environment. If normal, contact DNO or Peimar assistance.
  • Communication Errors: Check communication cables and connections. If normal, contact DNO or Peimar assistance.
  • Temperature High Error, Fan Error, Relay Error, Storer Error: Check for blockage around the radiator, ambient temperature, and if the inverter is not in extreme temperatures. If normal, contact DNO or Peimar assistance.

For frequent occurrences of these errors, immediate contact with the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or Peimar assistance is recommended for further investigation and resolution.

GFCI Device Error & DCI Device Error

  • Description: Issues with GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) or DCI (Direct Current Injection) devices.
  • Frequent Occurrence Advice: If this error occurs frequently, contact your distributor or Peimar technical service.

Current Sensor Error

  • Description: Problems with the current sensor.
  • Frequent Occurrence Advice: If this error occurs frequently, contact your distributor or Peimar technical service.

Grid Voltage Error

  • Description:
    • Check the electrical grid voltage.
    • Verify the connection between the inverter and the grid.
    • Check the inverter's standard grid configuration.
  • Specific Instructions:
    • If grid voltage is higher than the standard, contact your local grid distributor for information on how to regulate the voltage at the entry point or to change the regulated voltage value.
    • If the grid voltage is within the allowed range and the display still shows this error, contact your distributor or Peimar technical service.

Frequency Error

  • Description: Check the country settings and the local electrical grid frequency.
  • Frequent Occurrence Advice: If the conditions are correct, contact your distributor or Peimar technical service.

Grid Absence Error

  • Description: Verify the connection status between the AC side of the inverter and the electrical grid.
  • Frequent Occurrence Advice: If conditions are correct, contact your distributor or Peimar technical service.

ISO Isolation Error

  • Description:
    • Check the insulation resistance of the positive and negative sides of the solar panels.
    • Ensure the inverter is not in a humid environment.
    • Verify proper grounding of the inverter.
  • Frequent Occurrence Advice: If the specified conditions are correct, contact your distributor or Peimar technical service. If this error is always present, communicate with your distributor or Peimar technical service.

High Current

  • Description: The inverter is experiencing high current levels.
  • Solution: Check the connection state between the inverter and the electrical grid and verify if the grid voltage is stable. If the conditions are correct, contact your distributor or Peimar technical support.

High BUS Voltage

  • Description: The BUS voltage of the inverter is higher than expected.
  • Solution: Check the settings of the solar panels. Peimar technicians can assist you. If the conditions are correct, contact your distributor or Peimar technical support.

High PV Current

  • Description: The current from the PV panels is higher than expected.
  • Solution: If this error is always present, communicate with your distributor or Peimar technical service.

PV Voltage Error

  • Description: There is an issue with the voltage from the PV panels.
  • Solution: Check the settings of the solar panels. Peimar technicians can assist you. If the conditions are correct, contact your distributor or Peimar technical support.

Communication Lost

  • Description: The communication between the control board and the display is lost.
  • Solution: Verify the connection of the communication cables between the control board and the display. If the conditions are correct, contact your distributor or Peimar technical support.
