### Error Causes and Remedies/Explanations

#### Inverter Displays Unrealistic Daily Peak Value
- **Cause**: Grid voltage failure.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: The inverter continues to function properly without any yield losses despite displaying an incorrect daily peak value. Values reset overnight. For immediate reset, disconnect the inverter and the DC grid voltage supply, then switch the inverter back on.

#### Daily Yield Values Differ from Utility Company's Power Meter
- **Cause**: Tolerances of the inverter’s internal measuring elements.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: Measurement errors due to tolerances of measuring elements. The daily yield may deviate from the power meter by up to 15%.

#### No Display Shown
- **Cause**: Night shutdown mode, no grid voltage, solar generator voltage less than 110V.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: The inverter shuts down overnight. If the display is off during the day, check the power meter for power delivery. If power is delivered, the display module may be defective and needs repair. Ensure grid voltage is present and solar generator voltage is above 125V. If still no power delivery, return the inverter to KACO for repair.

#### Inverter Does Not Start
- **Cause**: Night shutdown mode, no grid voltage, solar generator voltage less than 125V.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: Similar to no display shown, if the inverter doesn't start, ensure grid voltage presence and solar generator voltage is above 125V. If conditions are met but no power is delivered, the device needs returning to KACO for repair.

#### Inverter Active but Does Not Deliver Power
- **Cause**: Insufficient generator voltage, voltage measured < 125V.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: Generator voltage or power may be insufficient due to sunrise, sunset, or bad weather, preventing grid feeding.

#### Inverter Active but Does Not Deliver Power with Display Reading: Start from 125V
- **Cause**: The inverter interrupted grid feeding due to a malfunction/disturbance.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: After interruption due to malfunction, the inverter waits approx. 3 minutes before resuming grid feeding operation. Frequent interruptions may require contacting your solar installation provider.

#### Inverter Terminates Grid Feeding Shortly After Starting
- **Cause**: Defective grid isolation relay in the inverter.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: If insolation is sufficient but the inverter switches off after a few seconds, it might be due to a defective grid isolation relay, necessitating device return to KACO for repair.

#### Grid Fuse Triggers
- **Cause**: Insufficient grid fuse rating or damaged inverter hardware.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: The grid fuse should have a higher rating than the max. grid feeding current to avoid tripping at high insolation. Immediate fuse action upon grid feeding switch indicates damaged inverter hardware needing repair at KACO.

#### Inverter Causes Noise
- **Cause**: Special environmental conditions.
- **Remedy/Explanation**: Audible noise may occur under specific conditions without affecting inverter operation or performance. Possible causes include grid effects, dynamic weather conditions, grid resonance, or high-frequency hum perceptible to sensitive individuals, particularly children. This noise does not lead to inverter failure, damage, or reduced lifespan.

**Further Troubleshooting Issues and Solutions**

**Issue: Daily energy output values do not match those of the grid feed-in meter.**
- **Cause:** Measurement tolerances of the inverter's measuring components.

**Issue: Inverter is active but not feeding into the grid. Display shows: "Waiting for grid connection"**
- **Causes:**
- Generator voltage too low.
- Grid or PV generator voltage is unstable.
- Insufficient voltage or power from the PV generator for grid connection (too low solar irradiation).
- Before connecting to the grid, the inverter checks network parameters. The connection time varies depending on the regulations in the respective country and can take several minutes.
- The startup voltage value may not be set correctly.
- **Explanation / Remedy:**
- If necessary, adjust the startup voltage in the parameter menu.
- **Responsible:** E

**Issue: The inverter is noisy.**
- **Cause:** Particular environmental conditions.
- **Explanation / Remedy:** Under certain environmental conditions, the devices may produce noise, or the noise produced may become audible. This can be due to interference on the network caused by particular loads connected at the same point of the network or located in immediately adjacent spaces. Dynamic weather conditions or strong solar irradiation might cause a slight humming sound due to high power output. In some network conditions, resonance between the device's input filter and the network may occur, audible even when the inverter is not operational. The occurrence of such noises does not affect the inverter's operation or shorten the lifespan of the devices. In individuals with particularly sensitive hearing, the operating frequency of the inverter (~17 kHz) may be perceived as a high-frequency hum.
- **No intervention required.**
- **Responsible:** -

**Issue: Despite sufficient irradiation, the inverter does not feed maximum power into the grid.**
- **Cause:** The device is overheating and thus limiting power output.
- **Explanation / Remedy:** To prevent damage, the inverter has reduced its power output due to high internal temperatures. Refer to the Technical Data to ensure proper cooling is maintained. Ensure the cooling by convection is not externally obstructed. Do not cover the cooling fins.
- Ensure adequate cooling of the device.
- Do not cover the cooling fins.
